Her first step officially into the industry was in high school where she took Cosmetology. Followed by going to College for Nail Technology, Makeup Artistry & Special Effects. However her education didn't stop there!

​

After school she received more training from various top skin care and makeup brand's from around the world.  This still didn't help her lacklustre hair though... Karisa struggled with colour damaged hair and just couldn't seem to get it to grow past shoulder length. Even with trying many "top brands". 

​

She eventually  found and partnered up with an award winning anti-aging hair, skin and wellness company Monat. They have an online academy that taught here about business, hair, skin & wellness! Her hair is now down to the middle of her back in less than a year and a half after using the clean nature derived products. 

 

Having such amazing growth results herself she now helps others heal their hair too! As she love to teach about skin, hair care and makeup  <3
